KAIE"S BIOGRAPHY
Edana Kaie~~Chief Horsewoman and Dera Marius of Morgan’s Tribe

Kaie was born in a coastal city near the vast mountains of Gaul.  Her
mother, a beautiful, spirited plainswoman of the ancient Gaul Tribe,
Voconti, died when she was very young.  Brianne was murdered at the
hands of Romans in a plot set in motion by her own Aunt, ( who helped
Kaie’s father raise her after murdering her mother).  Kaie inherited
Brianne’s precious gems at the tender age of 16, given to her mother by
the Goddess Epona.  It was a gift that would soon bring about the death
of her father and nearly her own.   Named as a thief, with lifelong scars
from the hangman's noose to brand her so, Kaie escaped a near death
ordered by her ambitious Aunt. She spent 3 long years hunted and on
the run, surviving the only way she knew how.  Kaie then met the one last
blood relative who claimed her in this world, Epona the Horse
Goddess, who would reveal the gems true meaning to her grand-
daughter.  It was when Kaie’s past finally caught up to her that she found
a new family forged of friendship, discipline,  and caring, in the forms of
Killian, Caitlin, and Nessa.

With their help, Kaie was able to escape the clutches of her Aunt
Serrah before finding a home in Morgan's Tribe of Amazons.  Through
Epona's guidance she later answered her true calling as a Horsewoman
like her mother was before her.  Kaie mastered the skills needed to
train, heal, and guide horses unlike any other.

With help from her new family, sometimes gentle and often not so, Kaie
is  slowly leaving the ways of the thief and wanderer behind her.  She is
growing to accept the responsibilities Morgan bestowed on her as
Chief Horse Woman of the Tribe- the Dera Marius.

Kaie is very young and often full of mischief.  She has developed a
fierce love for her sisters in this Tribe and strives to feel useful as a
part of them, no longer a thief in the shadows.  It was here Kaie first met
the beautiful and deadly Samurai who stole her heart and captured her
obedience, Chikara San.  That is a story which has just begun; a love
poem still to be written.
